The Social Enterpeuntship is an important part of a long-term policy targeted on SME development in the Omsk Region, improved with the State Programme for Development of the Economic Capacity of the Omsk Region.
This is a precedent in Russian history to create a Department for Social Entrepreneurship, and this is the Omsk Region. The mutual efforts of the Governor of the region, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Employment and Social Development, the Legislative Assembly, together with the Center for Innovating the Social Sphere, the community of enterpreuters and regional investors, led to a born of a social entrepreneurship segment of 5000 bodies in the region. They provide kindergartens, clinics, health care for old peaple, rehab facilities with a service of a brand new quality. The 2013 provided 14 small enterprizes with subsidies accounting to 20 mio for development of private kindergartens. This led to creation of 550 additional vacancies for children and to save another 400 mio for the region.
